Take My Washington State Homebuyer Class
I am a certified instructor for the Washington State Housing Finance Commission homebuyer education classes.
These free virtual classes are five hours long, and once completed, you receive a certificate that is valid for two years. This certificate may help you qualify for down payment assistance programs, including options that may provide up to 4% of the home's purchase price toward your down payment.
The class is educational, informative, and designed to help buyers understand the entire home buying process so they can move forward with confidence.

Whether you are relocating to Washington or moving to an area you are less familiar with, I have several ways to help you explore neighborhoods and find the right fit.
One of my favorite resources is Homes.com. They offer neighborhood overview videos for communities all across the country, providing insight into local housing, parks, grocery stores, restaurants, schools, commute times, and community amenities.
I can also meet with you one-on-one to discuss your priorities and help narrow down areas that align with your lifestyle and goals. If possible, I always encourage buyers to spend time exploring neighborhoods in person, driving through different areas, and visiting open houses to get a true feel for the community before making a decision.
Finding a Great School
If schools are an important part of your home search, I highly recommend using Niche.com as a research tool.
As a REALTOR®, fair housing laws prohibit me from steering clients toward or away from specific schools, and I also don't have firsthand knowledge of everything happening within every school or district. Because of that, I always encourage buyers to do their own research using reliable, up-to-date resources.
Niche.com provides report cards and ratings for everything from preschools to graduate schools. You'll find information on academics, student and parent reviews, extracurricular activities, demographics, test scores, and more. The site also provides contact information for schools and administrators if you'd like to schedule a meeting, ask questions, or learn more directly from the source.
It's one of the most comprehensive tools available to help families make informed decisions about schools and communities.
